Is your Google search getting redirected? It is not a problem with Google. It is a virus attack, which is spreading like a pandemic all over the world.

A few days back, my system was also infected with the same virus. I came to know about the virus when I used Google’s custom search. My profession needs a lot of searching of the web. And for searching purposes, I use Google’s custom search as millions of others in the world. But on that particular day when I typed a word about which I need some information; the search page got redirected to a page which was quite different from the Google’s usual search page and was filled with bogus content. Apart from that a lot of pop ups just crammed my computer. I didn’t recognize what is going on and what happened to my search results. Then I thought that it may be my mistake. I repeated my action and Google also did the same as it had done before. Then I went to my friends computer and did the same action as I did on my computer. But there was nothing wrong; Google did the search as it should.

I finally concluded that, my system was infected by a virus. I scanned each and every file of my computer with the help of the anti-virus already present on my computer to trace the virus, but my anti-virus failed to detect the virus. Then I downloaded a new program from the internet in hopes that the new anti-virus could detect the virus. But that also failed to do the job. Then I tried with several other anti-viruses, but not a single of them found any trace of that Google search redirect virus.

After trying to find every possible method, finally I found a site claiming that his tool can detect and remove the Google search virus. I ran the program that site is offering on my system and after about 30 minutes I opened my browser and tried to search again found that the virus is no more there.
